INK LEAK CHECK
An ink leak check is required when disconnecting the Ink Supply Tube from the
Printhead.
The judgment method of the ink leak check is described below.
The jigs for the leak check (leak tester sheet front/rear) need to be

Leak check procedure
1.
Pull out the jigs for the leak check.

Check the ink adherence state on the cloudy surface of the jigs to determine
whether or not there is an ink leak.
Judgment criterion of leak check
Check whether or not ink is adhered at a position of 2 mm or more from the
leading edge of the cloudy surface of the jigs. (Consider the result to be a fail
if any of the jigs for the leak check does not pass the check.)
• Pass (no ink leak)
When ink adherence is less than 2 mm from the leading edge of the jig
• Fail (ink leak)
When ink adherence is 2 mm or more from the leading edge of the jig
