8) Push the PCB stopper shown in Figure 4-
31 in the direction of the arrow, and re-
move the blank exposure PCB (front. rear).

Note:
When mounting the blank exposure unit, move
the blank exposure PCB drive boss shown in
Figure 4-31 to the insi'de of the copier, and fit
it on the boss guide shown in Figure 4-32.

Adjusting the Blank Shutter Solenoid
Loosen the two screws holding the
solenoid shown in Figure 4-33, move the
blank shutter solenoid, and fix the solenoid
where the plunger and blank shutter can
move smoothly.

3. Adjusting the Reflector (front, rear)
The non-image width in the reduction
mode at front and rear is adjusted by moving ,'.
the reflector at the front and rear of the blank
exposure unit.

1) Place a 84 chart on the copyboard, and
make an A4 copy at a reproduction ratio
of ,8 1%.
2) If the copy has a non-image area, move
the reflector to the outside 2/5 the non-
image area shown on the copy.
