IV. EXPOSURE SYSTEM
A. Lamp Unit
1. Removing the Scanning Lamp
I) Disconnect the power plug.
2) Remove the upper rear cover, upper front
cover, upper left cover, and upper right
cover in the order named, and remove the
copyboard glass.
3)
Hold the rear of the mirror 1 mount, and
move it to the right until it comes to the
cut shown in Figure 4-24.
Note:
Be sure to hold the mirror 1 mount as shown
in Figure 4-22; the reflector deforms easily.

4) Remove the screw from the electrode
mount (rear).

5) Remove the screw from the electrode

6) Lift the front of the mirror
1 mount,
re-
move the electrode mount (front) at A and
then B, and pull out the scanning lamp
slowly.

Note:
When mounting the scanning lamp, hold it so
that its boss faces down at an angle.
