Record the frame number and the vehicle

dering spare parts from a Keeway dealer.
WARNING
Any changes to the identi cation
numbers stamped on the frame or
engine will automatically render the
warranty null and void.

Diagnostic connector

The diagnostic connector is located under
the seat as shown the gure.
Remove the protective cap only to connect
a diagnostic device. The absence of the cap
causes the lack of communication between
the instrument board and the ECU, as well
as no protection of the contacts against
dirt or oxide.

Vehicle data recording

This model's ECU stores certain vehicle
data to assist in the diagnosis of malfunc-
tions and for research and development
purposes.
This data will be uploaded only when a
special Keeway diagnostic device is at-
tached to the vehicle, such as when main-
tenance checks or service procedures are
performed.
Although the sensors and recorded data
will vary by model, the main data points
are:
Vehicle status and engine performance
data
Fuel-injection
and
emission-related
data
Keeway will not disclose this data to a third
party, except:
With the consent of the vehicle owner
Where obligated by law
For use by Keeway in litigation.
For general Keeway-conducted re-
search purposes when the data is not
related to an individual vehicle nor
owner.
