10. Check the O-ring is not damaged and

replace, if necessary.
11. Install the oil lter, the compression
spring, the O-ring, and the oil drain

bolt.
TIP
Make sure the O-ring is properly in place.
12. Install the oil lter cap to the speci ed
tightening torque.
Tightening torque of engine oil
lter:
22-24 N·m
(2.2-2.4 kgf·m, 16.2-17.7 lb·ft)
13. Install the rod control block of the
gearchange pedal in a di erent way
than disassembly.
14. Place the drain bolt back and put a
new gasket.
Tightening torque of oil drain
25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18.4 lb·ft)
15. Re ll with the speci ed amount of the
recommended engine oil, and then in-
stall and tighten the oil ller cap.

Recommended engine oil:
API SH, SAE10W-40, JASO MA
Oil quantity:
Oil change with oil lter removal
1,2 L ±0,1 L (0,1 US gal, 0,6 Imp gal)
TIP
Since the replacement or cleaning of the oil
lter may be di cult for an operator with
little experience, we recommend contact-
ing an authorised Keeway workshop.

TIP
Be sure to wipe o spilled oil on any parts
after the engine and exhaust system have
cooled down.
WARNING
•
In order to prevent clutch slippage
(since the engine oil also lubricates
the clutch), do not mix any chemical
additives. Do not use oils with a diesel
speci cation of "CD" or oils of a higher
quality than speci ed. In addition, do
not use oils labelled "ENERGY CON-
SERVING II" or higher.
•
Make sure that no foreign material en-
ters the crankcase.
16. Start the engine, and then let it idle for
several minutes while checking it for
oil leakage. If oil is leaking, immediate-
ly turn the engine o and check for the
cause.
17. Turn the engine o , wait a few minutes
until the oil settles, then check the oil
level and adjust, if necessary.
