Brake pedal

The brake pedal is located on the right side
of the motorcycle. To apply the rear brake,
3 press down on the brake pedal.

CBS

This bike is equipped with a combined
braking system. By pulling the rear braking
lever, the rear brake is activated as well as
the front one.
For a complete and e cient braking, pull
the rear and front braking levers at the
same time, as with the braking system of
conventional bikes.
As in case of braking systems of conven-
tional bikes, an excessively strong, quick
use of the braking controls may lock the
wheels, thus reducing the vehicle control
power.
For normal braking, use both the front and
the rear brake depending on vehicle speed.
For max. braking, close the throttle and pull
the rear and front braking levers rmly.

WARNING
Always keep a su cient distance
from the vehicle ahead to match the
riding speed even with CBS.
The CBS performs best with the lon-
gest braking distances.
On certain surfaces, such as rough
or gravel roads, the braking distance
may be longer with the CBS than
without.
