Pouch Zipper

Press the pouch zipper key and the window will show the
step‑by‑step keys.
Prepare 2 pieces of fabric and a zipper tape.
NOTE:
Dual feed plus zipper foot ED* appears on
the visual touch screen when the dual feed
key is pressed.
Use the dual feed plus zipper foot ED*
instead of zipper foot E.
* Dual feed plus zipper foot ED (single) and the holder
(single) are optional items (sold separately).
Sew back right side
Attach zipper foot E.
Open the zipper.
Place the right sides of the fabric and zipper tape
together aligning both right edges.
Seam along the zipper aligning the right edge of the foot
and zipper tape.
Stop 5 cm (2˝) before zipper foot E reaches the slider on
the zipper tape. Close the zipper and stitch the remainder
of the seam.

(2) Wrong side of the zipper tape
Sew back left side
Fold back the right seam allowance.
Place the right sides of the other fabric and zipper tape
together aligning both left edges.
Open the zipper and seam along the zipper aligning the
left edge of the foot and zipper tape.
Stop 5 cm (2˝) before zipper foot E reaches the slider on
the zipper tape. Close the zipper and stitch the remainder
of the seam.
