Saving a Pattern Combination

The pattern combination and monogram can be saved
as a file in the machine's internal memory or a USB flash
drive. The machine has a USB port for USB flash drives.
Press the save file key after programming a pattern
combination, and the save file window will open.
(1) Save file key
Select the location to where you wish to save the pattern
combination.
The "Ordf" folder is shown.
The file name is assigned automatically starting from
C_001.....in order.
Select the "Ordf" folder.
Press the OK key to save the file under the assigned
name.
(2) File name
If you wish to assign a unique name to the file, press the
rename key and the keyboard window will open.
(3) Rename key
If you wish to use QWERTY layout keyboard, press the
keyboard tab.
Press the upper or lower case key to select letter case.
(4) ABC tab
(5) Keyboard tab
(6) Upper case key
(7) Lower case key
Enter a new name and press the OK key to change the
file name.
Press the OK key and the file is saved under the new
name.
NOTE:
• The files and folders are displayed on different
pages. Press page keys to switch the window.
(8) Page keys
• This model supports FAT16 and FAT32 formats only.
If the USB flash drive is not read, check its format
(refer to pages 149-150).
• Do not use a USB card reader and USB hub.

Creating a New Folder

Select a location for a new folder and press the new
folder key. The keyboard window will open.
Enter a folder name and press the OK key.
The new folder is created under the assigned name.
(9) New folder key
NOTE:
Press the parent directory key to move to the parent
directory and display the folder.
(10) Parent directory key

Deleting a File or Folder

Press the delete key and select the file or folder to delete.
A confirmation message appears.
Press the OK key to delete the file or folder.
