This unique feature allows you to control zigzag width
with the knee lifter.
Select (1)-M or (1)-L, using the darning foot PD-H for
sewing quilt layers. Guide the fabric with your hands
while sewing.
Select (2)-M or (2)-L, using the free motion quilting zigzag
foot QV or variable zigzag open-toe foot QZ (refer to page
119 for how to attach the foot: same as button sewing
foot T) for sewing flat and firm fabrics. Guide the fabric
with your hands while sewing.
The A.S.R. key can be used when selecting (2)-M or (2)-L
(refer to pages 125-127).
Select (3)-M or (3)-L, using the satin stitch foot F for
sewing variable zigzag stitches.
The fabric is fed by the feed dogs and the stitch width
can be varied with the knee lifter.
Attach a stabilizer to the wrong side of the fabric if
needed.
Sew at slow to medium speed while guiding the fabric
with your hands and controlling the stitch width with your
knee.
NOTE:
• When the machine stops, you can raise and lower
the presser foot with the knee lifter.
• The purple tip needle is recommended to prevent
