Fieldbus connectors can be ordered from Endress+Hauser as an accessory (see ' A ccessories' section). The connection technology of FOUNDATION Fieldbus™ allows devices to be connected to the fieldbus via uniform mechanical connections such as T-boxes, junction boxes etc.

This serves as the ' b ackbone' (basic network) between various local sub-networks and/or where there is a large number of network users.
