Chapter 3 Basic Operations — Switching on/off the projector
How to remove the power cord
1)
Confirm that the <主电源> switch on the side of the projector is on the <关> side, and remove the
power plug from the outlet.
2)
Raise the power cord holder fixing the power cord upward. (Fig. 1)
f Fix the power cord holder by snapping into the projector.
3)
While holding the power cord connector, pull out the power cord from the <电源接口> terminal of the
projector. (Fig. 2)
Power indicator
Indicate the status of the power. Check the status of the power indicator <开（绿）/待机（红）> before operating
the projector.

Red
Green
Orange
Note
f While the power indicator <开（绿）/待机（红）> lights in orange, the fan is running to cool the projector.

The main power is switched off.
The power is switched off. (standby mode)
Projection will start when the power on <b> button is pressed.
f The setting of the projector is as follows.

g The [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [QUICK STARTUP] is set to [OFF].
f The projector may not operate when the light source indicators <光源1>/<光源2> or the
temperature indicator <温度> are blinking. (x page 178)
The power is switched off. (standby mode)
Projection will start when the power on <b> button is pressed.
f The setting of the projector is as follows.
g The [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [QUICK STARTUP] is set to [ON].
f The indicator will change to a red light when the specified time has elapsed after the
projector enters the standby mode if the projector is set as following.
Blinking
The specified time is the time set in the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [QUICK
STARTUP] → [VALID PERIOD].
g The [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [QUICK STARTUP] is set to [ON].
f The projector may not operate when the light source indicators <光源1>/<光源2> or the
temperature indicator <温度> are blinking. (x page 178)

Projecting.
The projector is preparing to switch off the projector.
Lit
The power is switched off after a while. (Changes to the standby mode.)
