Driving comfort

Vehicle features and options
This chapter describes model-specific equip-
ment, systems, and functions that are currently
available, or may become available in the fu-
ture, even if they are not present in your vehi-
cle.
Additional information:
Vehicle equipment, refer to page 8.
Chassis components
The chassis components are optimized for the
vehicle and its application range and thereby
ensure the best possible driving experience.
Two-axle ride level control
Principle
Air suspension ensures best possible driving
comfort under all load conditions. Due to a var-
iable adjustment of the front and rear axles,
the suspension is adjusted to the vehicle con-
dition.
General information
Regardless of the load, the vehicle will be
maintained at the configured vehicle level.
Depending on the driving situation, the vehicle
level can be set to different levels:
Normal level: for normal road condition.
Elevated level: in poor road conditions or
for light terrain.

Safety information
Warning
Adjusting the vehicle height may result in
trapped body parts or damaged vehicle parts.
There is a risk of injury or risk of damage to
property. When adjusting the vehicle height,
make sure that the areas of movement
around the vehicle and at the wheel housing
are free.
Overview
Button in vehicle
Self-leveling suspension
Display
LED off: Normal level.
LED flashes: level is being adjusted.
LED illuminated: Raised level.
LED flashes rapidly: level adjustment not
possible.
Functional requirement
All doors are closed.
