Removing Misfed Paper
When "Remove Misfeed Z2:Dup.Feed Unit"

You can remove misfed paper from the duplex feed unit by following the proce-
dure below.
❒ When a paper misfeed occurs in the duplex feed unit, the printer usually
sends the misfed paper to the right cover, so there is no need to execute this
procedure. See p.138 "When "Remove Misfeed A:Internal Path"
❒ Be sure to remove misfed paper by following the procedure below when the
"Remove Misfeed Z2:Dup.Feed Unit" message appears on the display.

Turn off the power, and then unplug the power cable.

Slowly open the front cover of the printer, remove the green screwdriv-
er.

Remove the screw fastening the duplex feed unit using the provided
screwdriver.
You will use this screw to refasten the duplex feed unit later.
