Description
The paper size and type setting
in the tray differs from that of
actual paper size and type in
the tray.

The indicated toner cartridge is
not set correctly.

The front cover is open.
The right cover is open.
The cover for the duplex unit is
open.
The front cover for the finisher
is open.
The finisher upper cover is
open.
The paper entrance cover for
the finisher is open.
The right cover for the paper
feed table/Large Capacity Tray
is open.
The upper left cover (the cover
for the fusing unit) is open.
The upper right cover (the cov-
er for the toner cartridge) is
open.
An attempt to change the IP ad-
dress, subnet mask or gateway
address was made while DHCP
was set to [On].
Solution
Load paper of the selected size in the
tray, and then change the paper size
setting with the control panel. Or,
press the {Form Feed} key, and then
select the tray using the control panel.
Or, press the {Job Reset} key to cancel
the print job.
Set the indicated toner cartridge(s)
correctly.
See p.40 "Replacing the Toner Car-
tridge".
Close the front cover for the printer.
Close the right cover.
Close the cover for the duplex unit.
Close the front cover for the finisher.
Close the upper cover for the finisher.
Close the upper entrance cover for the
finisher.
Close the right cover for the paper
feed table/Large Capacity Tray.
Close the upper left cover.
Close the upper right cover.
Make the change after setting DHCP
to [Off].
