f After laying the cable, confirm that the value of [SIGNAL QUALITY] in the [NETWORK] menu → [DIGITAL LINK] → [DIGITAL LINK STATUS]
is displayed in green, which indicates a normal quality. (x page 116)
Note
f For an HDMI cable, use an HDMI High Speed cable that conforms to HDMI standards. If a cable that does not conform to HDMI standards
is used, images may be interrupted or may not be displayed.
f The optional Digital Interface Box (Model No.: ET-YFB100G) and the optional DIGITAL LINK Switcher (Model No.: ET-YFB200G) do not
support the input and output of the 4K image signal.
f The maximum transmission distance between the twisted-pair-cable transmitter and the projector is 100 m (328'1") for the signal with
resolution of 1 920 x 1 200 dots or less. For the signal with the resolution exceeding 1 920 x 1 200 dots, the maximum transmission distance
is 50 m (164'1"). It is possible to transmit up to 150 m (492'2") if the twisted-pair-cable transmitter supports the long-reach communication
method. However, the signal that the projector can receive is only up to 1080/60p (1 920 x 1 080 dots, dot clock frequency 148.5 MHz)
for the long-reach communication method. If these distances are exceeded, image may be disrupted or a malfunction may occur in LAN
communication. Please note that Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. does not support the use of the projector outside the maximum transmission
distance. When connecting with the long reach, image signal or distance that can be transmitted may be restricted, depending on the
specification of the twisted-pair-cable transmitter.
f For twisted-pair-cable transmitter of other manufacturers of which the operation has been verified with the DIGITAL LINK compatible
projector, refer to website (https://panasonic.net/cns/projector/). Note that the verification for devices of other manufacturers has been made
for the items set by Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd., and not all the operations have been verified. For operation or performance problems
caused by the devices of other manufacturers, contact the respective manufacturers.
Connecting example when using multi-image projection with automatic
adjustment
When connecting up to 4 projectors with the <HDMI OUT> terminal and combining their projected images
horizontally to form a single unified image, the automatic adjustment function can be used by satisfying the
following conditions. The automatic adjustment function allows automatically setting the values of [POSITION
DATA] ([ASPECT], [SHIFT] and [ZOOM]) of the projectors that are combined to form a single unified image.
g Arrange the projected images from the projectors horizontally.
g Set the input of the first projector to HDMI1, HDMI2 or DIGITAL LINK.
g Set the input of the subsequently connected projectors to the input (HDMI1 or HDMI2) connected to the
<HDMI OUT> terminals of the preceding projectors.
g Set the [POSITION] menu → [MULTI IMAGE PROJECTION] → [ADJUST MODE] to [AUTO] for all connected
projectors.
g Set the [POSITION] menu → [MULTI IMAGE PROJECTION] → [HDMI OUT] to [ON] for all connected
projectors.
g Set the number of connected projectors in the [POSITION] menu → [MULTI IMAGE PROJECTION] →
[NUMBER OF PROJECTORS].
g Set the position of image projected from each connected projector (setting the leftmost image to [1]) in the
[POSITION] menu → [MULTI IMAGE PROJECTION] → [ORDER].

Attention
f When using multiple projectors side by side, provide sufficient space between the projectors. For details of the required space between
projectors, refer to "Cautions when setting the projectors" (x page 18).
