Printer control board (PRCB)

1. Remove the rear cover.

6. Remove parameter chip (PJ24) [1] from the printer control board.
NOTE
• When the printer control board (PRCB) has been replaced, be sure to remount
parameter chip (PJ24). Remove parameter chip (PJ24) from the old printer control
board and mount it on the new printer control board.

2. Remove the screw [1] and the con-
nector protective bracket [2].
3. Disconnect all connectors and flat
cables from the printer control board.
4. Remove four screws [1].
5. Disconnect the connector [2] from
the image processing board and
remove the printer control board [3].
