1. Disconnect the ADF hookup cable
[1].
NOTE
• NEVER disconnect and reconnect
the ADF hookup cable with the
power switch of the machine turned
ON, as a damaged image process-
ing board could result.

4. While inserting a pin or similar object
into the hole [2], remove the Auto
Document Feeder Unit [3].

NOTE
Make the following adjustments when
a new Auto Document Feeder Unit has
been mounted:
• Make a leading edge skew adjust-
ment.
