SNORKEL TERMINATION:

• HORIZONTAL RUN MUST NOT EXCEED 2 FEET (61
CM).
A 14" (356mm) or 36" (914mm) snorkel termination
is approved in conformance with the vent rise/run and
termination clearance specifications published in this manual.
See figs. 6.9 – 6.10.
The snorkel termination must comply with grade and building
clearance requirements per local and national building codes.

 Any horizontally terminated vent run must include a minimum 1 ft. (61
cm) vertical rise.
 At minimum vertical run, the total horizontal run (A) must not
