*1: It is a jam that appears when door open is detected during printing.
When the power is turned OFF and then ON while the door open jam is detected, it is displayed as an internal residual jam instead
of a door open jam.
How to see jam codes
Example: When the jam code 0901 has occurred
The first two digits, 09, of 0901 indicate the jam type is Pickup Delay Jam 1 (at paper pickup, the TOP Sensor (PS2) does not
detect the paper leading edge although a specified period of time has passed).
The last two digits, 01, of 0901 indicate residual paper is located in the Multiple-purpose Tray to Registration area.
The jam code 0901 indicates, therefore, a type of jam where the TOP Sensor (PS2) does not detect the paper leading edge at
paper pickup even after a specified period of time has passed occurred, leaving fed paper somewhere between the Multiple-
purpose Tray area and the Registration Assembly area.
