To connect the cables:
1. Cut off the plug on one end of the cable.
2. Remove the screw as illustrated in Figure 5-10: Removing AD(A)-
R( ) Unit Cover and open the unit cover.

3. Locate the adapter terminals on the unit.
4. Remove the cap on the adapter terminal to expose the metal
receptacle. Push the cable in the applicable receptacle, and
replace the cap. Line up the slot on the cap with the slot on the
metal receptacle to ensure proper contact. (Refer to Section 9:
Attaching Cables to the AD(A)-R( ) Unit on page 1-114).
Attach the cables to the AD(A)-R( ) Unit according to Table 5-1:
AD(A)-R( ) Unit Cable Connections.
