Selecting a media/drive type number displays a message similar to the one
below:
Insert source disk into drive A:
Press any key when ready.
(c)
Remove the Diagnostics Disk from the FDD, insert the source disk, and
press any key. The following message appears, indicating the program has
started.
[ FDD TYPE ] : TRACK
[ FDD TYPE ] : HEAD
[ FDD TYPE ] : SECTOR = XX
Copy start
(d)
Remove the source disk from the FDD, insert a formatted work disk, and
press any key. The [[ track, head = XXX X ]] message appears and the
data starts copying to the target disk. When the amount of data is too large
to be copied in one operation, the message from Step (b) displays again.
After the floppy disk has been copied, the following message appears:
Copy complete
Another copy (1:Yes/2:No) ?
To copy another disk, type 1 and the message from Step (a) displays again.
(e)
Entering 2 returns the test program to the Diagnostics Menu.

DUMP Program
(a)
When dump is selected, the following message appears:
DIAGNOSTICS-HARD
Drive type select (1:FDD, 2:HDD) ?
(b)
Select a format type number. If C or D is selected, the display goes to Step
(e).
Select drive number
(c)
Select a drive number and the following message displays:
Format type select (1:2DD, 2:2D, 3:2HD) ?
(d)
Select a media type number and the following message appears:
Insert source disk into drive A:
Press any key when ready.
