Points to Remember
[Measure] Tab
Measurement can be performed when the instrument settings are met and the PC application is running.
Memo
The settings confi gured on the PC application will also be applied when measuring remotely from the PC application.
When performing remote measurement from the PC application, the "Meas. Cond." on the left side of the screen will be applied.
Instrument settings area
This is the area where measurement
conditions can be confi gured.
For more on the settings, refer to the
instrument settings area under the
[Setting] tab on page E-51.
Memo
The measurement conditions
are the same as set on the
<Setting> screen.
Write to Instrument
This function writes the target data displayed above to the instrument.
Call
This function allows the target data measured by the instrument to be
displayed on the PC application.
Clear Target
Deletes the target data displayed above.

Avg.Cnt.
Displays the number of measurements to
perform before returning an average when
averaging measurements.
Undo
This function allows measurement to be redone
during averaging measurements.
Remote measurement area
Displays target data (target color data)
and sample data (measurement data)
information.
Save Meas. Data
Specifi es the destination for saving
data measured using the PC
application. It is also possible to
confi gure the settings so that
measured data is not saved.
Sample
The sample data (measurement data)
will be displayed.
Target
Displays target data (target color data).
Use Measure Button on Inst.
Checking the box on the right enables
measurement through the measuring
button on the instrument.
Memo
The "Measure" key on the PC
application is disabled.
Measure
Measures remotely from the PC
application.
Memo
If no target data has been
acquired, the target will be
measured. Once the target
data has been called, the
sample will be measured.
