Application Gateway Administration Guide
The general steps for upgrading the memory of the Application Gateway
are as follows:
Remove the cover of the Application Gateway.
1.
Remove the existing DIMM boards.
2.
Insert the new DIMM boards.
3.
Replace the cover on the Application Gateway.
4.
These steps are described in the following procedure.
To upgrade the Application Gateway memory:
Remove the cover from the Application Gateway. Refer to
page 35.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw (A) from the front edge

of the cover.
Grasp the back edge of the cover. Simultaneously, pull from the back

edge and push near the front edge until the cover slides out from
under the edge of the Application Gateway front panel.
Grasp the notch (B) in the front center of the cover and lift up to

remove the cover.
