Put On the Backpack

With a loaded backpack, it is recommended that you connect the straps in the
following order (refer to Figure 1-12 on page 38 for information on tightening
and loosening straps):
1. Loosen all straps and place the pack on your back.
2. Fasten the waist belt and tighten it so that it rests on your hips. The waist
belt should always remain on your hips, even after the harness is adjusted.
