Manually move the ribbon guide to the side of the cartridge, as shown,
then rotate the ribbon advance knob to take up any slack in the ribbon.

Insert the ribbon guide over the metal pins on each side of the
printhead.

Manually move the printhead to the center position.

Align and insert the left and right side tabs of the ribbon cartridge into
the slots in the side frames.
