Description

This adjustment applies only to spectrum analyzers with A15 RF
NOTE
assembly 08563- 60083 or earlier (serial prefix 3517A and below). Later
A15 RF assemblies have no 298 MHz adjustment. This procedure is
required for spectrum analyzers with a serial prefix less than 3310A
(standard and all options), or from 3310A through 3517A with Option
008 installed.
The frequency range of the 298 MHz signal ID oscillator is determined
by counting the 10.7 MHz IF as A15C629 is rotated through its range of
adjustment. The SIG ID oscillator is then set to the frequency
determined by the following equation:
