Problem—The Battery Charge Indicator Light Does Not
Come On When the Engine Is Not Running
Cause
The bulb is damaged.
The circuit is broken.
Problem—The Battery Charge Indicator Light Comes
Cause
The poly-V belt is too loose.
The belt tensioner is damaged.
The poly-V belt is worn or damaged.
The alternator is damaged (has a
damaged rectifier or voltage regulator).
