Messages

When an error occurs, the display may show one of the messages listed below. These will help you identify and correct
the problem.
NOTE
When a transmission error occurs, a sent/receipt result report is produced.
Check the error code shown in the report and refer to the following:
Error Code List (page 9-6)
To print the sent/receipt result report, refer to the following:
Send Result Reports (page 7-4)
FAX RX Result Reports (page 7-6)
You may also check error codes using the activity report.

Message
Cannot use this function.
>> FAX Transmission
Error occurred. Turn the power
switch off and on.
FAX memory is full.
Incorrect account ID. Job is
canceled.
Incorrect Login User Name or
Password. Job is canceled.
Insufficient memory. Cannot
start the job.
Job Accounting restriction
exceeded. Job is canceled.
Load paper in cassette #.
Load paper in cassette #.

Corrective Action
This job is canceled because it is
restricted by User Authorization or Job
Accounting. Select the [OK] key.
System error has occurred. Turn the main
power switch OFF and then ON.
FAX cannot be performed any more due
to insufficient memory. The job is
canceled. Select the [OK] key.
The account ID was incorrect when
processing the job externally. The job is
canceled. Select the [OK] key.
The login user name or password was
incorrect when processing the job
externally. The job is canceled. Select the
[OK] key.
Job cannot be started. Try again later.
The printing count exceeded the
acceptable count restricted by Job
Accounting. Cannot print any more. This
job is canceled. Select the [OK] key.
Load paper.
Select [Paper] to select the other paper
source.
Load paper.
Select [Paper] to select the other paper
source. Select the [OK] key to print on the
paper in the currently selected paper
source.
An error has occurred in the machine.
Make a note of the error code displayed
on the message display, and contact your
service representative.
