TROUBLES AND ACTIONS
Problem
Axle
Noise is generated.
Brake
Brake does not work even when ped-
al is depressed.
Brake drags or remains applied.

Steering wheel is heavy to operate.

Parking brake
Braking effect is poor.

Hydraulic system
Power lacks when raising the bucket. Lack of oil in the hydraulic tank

Excessive bubbles are in oil.

Main causes
Lack of oil
Improper oil is used (for machines
with limited slip differential)
Disc has worn to wear limit.
Lack of oil in the hydraulic tank
Air is in brake system.
Vent hole of brake valve is clogged.
Disc has worn.
Large amount of water is mixed into
axle oil
Axle oil is deteriorated due to over-
use of the brake.
