Installation

On a configuration with multiple DR Detectors of the same type, it is required
to apply labeling to the DR Detector containing a unique nickname for each
DR Detector. The nicknames must be configured on the NX Workstation. The
DR Detector Switch shows which DR Detector is active and shows its status, by
means of the nickname of the DR Detector.
An identical label is attached to the bucky of the X-ray system to identify the
dedicated workspace of each DR Detector.

X-ray exposure parameters

The default X-ray exposure parameters for each exposure type can be
customized on the NX workstation using the NX Service and Configuration
Tool. The NX workstation is delivered with a set of X-ray exposure parameters
that are intended as a guideline. The default X-ray exposure parameters are
only starting points that can be replaced by more specific X-ray exposure
parameters developed by the operator.
Tables are provided in this document to record the X-ray exposure parameters
at the time of the installation and further modifications.
For detailed information about customizing the X-ray exposure parameters,
refer to the NX Key User Manual, document 4421.
