What It Indicates
An OOS condition has

DDS network interface,
followed by the period of
time that the condition
has existed.
Alarm condition no
longer exists.
An OOF condition has
been detected on the
interface, followed by the
period of time that the
condition has existed.
Alarm condition no
longer exists.
An excessive number of
bipolar violations has
been detected on the
DDS network interface,
followed by the period of
time that the condition
has existed. Caused
when at least 50 errors
have been detected
within a 2 second period.
Alarm condition no
longer exists.
A compression
connection for the
specified Port 1 DLCI is
down.
Only appears when
compression has been
enabled.
Alarm condition no
longer exists.
What To Do
Contact network provider.

1. Verify that the network cable is
securely attached at both ends
of the access unit identified.
2. During initial connection of the
interface, the access unit may
experience this condition. If
the condition does not clear
within a few seconds, call your
network provider.

Verify that both Port 1 and
network LMI are up, that the
network DLCI is up, and that the
data compression configuration
options at each end are
compatible.
