as they are activated by the

Cross Pair Detection
A cross pair condition has
been detected on the DDS
network interface; RX and
TX pair are reversed.
DBM Card Failed
One or more of the access
unit's integrated circuit
chips has failed to loop data
through the DBM circuit
internally.

nnnn indicates a DLCI number of 16 through 1007; interface is the Network, Port 1,
Port 2, or the basic rate interface B channel.

What To Do

PVC Problems, in Chapter 5 of
the Technical Reference.
Enable Compression for the
DLCI.
Enable Compression at both
ends of the circuit.
Configure access units at both
ends of the circuit so their
compression options are
compatible.
No action needed unless you
want to disable this feature,
selected from the Main Menu.
Reverse the RX and TX pair at
the punchdown block or other
termination point.
1. Reset the access unit and try
again.
2. Call your service
representative for assistance.
3. Return the access unit to the
factory (see
Page A
at the
front of this guide).
