f If the <SHUTTER> button on the remote control is pressed during fade-in or fade-out, the fade operation is canceled.
f Fade-in/fade-out is not performed on the audio. Audio is output or paused linked to the operation of the shutter function.
Setting [STARTUP]
Automatically enable/disable the shutter function (shutter: closed/open) when the power is turned on.

Press as to select [SHUTTER SETTING].

Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SHUTTER SETTING] screen is displayed.

Press as to select [STARTUP].

Press qw to switch the item.

Using the shutter function
Image and audio are turned off when the projector is not used for a specific time.
1)
Press as to select [SHUTTER SETTING].
2)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SHUTTER SETTING] screen is displayed.
3)
Press as to select [SHUTTER].
4)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f Press the <MENU> button to cancel the function.
Note
f The power indicator <ON (G)/STANDBY (R)> will blink green slowly while the shutter function is in use (shutter: closed).
f To output audio while the shutter function is in use (shutter: closed), set the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [AUDIO SETTING] → [IN
SHUTTER] to [ON].

[FREEZE]

The projected image is paused and audio is turned off regardless of the playback of the external device.
1)
Press as to select [FREEZE].
2)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f Press the <MENU> button to release.
Note
f [FREEZE] is displayed on the screen when video is paused.

The projector goes into projection mode with the shutter function disabled (shutter: opened) when the
power is turned on.
The projector goes into projection mode with the shutter function enabled (shutter: closed) when the
power is turned on.
Adjustment
Does not set fade-in or fade-out.
Sets the fade-in or fade-out time.
Select an item from [0.5s] - [4.0s], [5.0s], [7.0s], or [10.0s]. [0.5s] -
[4.0s] can be selected in increments of 0.5.
