NOTICE
Ensure that potential equalizing currents do not flow over the shield conductor
of the interface line. Therefore, provide a proper potential equalization between
the devices to be connected already before the first commissioning.
The VAM 11.1 / VAM 41.1 devices provide 16 digital 24 V inputs and 8 digital
24 V outputs. The connectors of the inputs and outputs are located on the logic
circuit board. The states of the I/Os are indicated by the green LED.
The states of the inputs are transmitted to the master control via
PROFIBUS DP. The outputs are defined by the master control via
PROFIBUS DP.
