the adjustments in this document:

Comments

Removes enhancement to sharpness if set
to values shown.
Removes enhancement and filtering on
inputs.
This is used to modify gamma. The value
shown in the table will result in a value
close to 2.2 with GAMM below.
To align color & luminance information with
Avia or image similar to CNN logo
To modify luminance curve when set to the
values shown. The resulting gamma will
be about 2.2 with VGAM above.
With THX screen alignment image or
Video Essentials
Set these to the values shown to
equivalence settings across inputs.
With AVIA or THX Optimizer.
With THX picture/contrast display (use this
value for all other inputs).
Adjust white balance with gray scale
displays, skip this or try the values
included. You may be able to increase
SPIC after making this adjustment.
With AVIA and/or THX Optimizer.
With Avia.
With Avia (if it changes go back to color
decoder).
Copy settings from User Menu into reset
settings. Remember to start counting at
Adjust each input to the desired
appearance under PRO mode with these
values. This can be difficult without a test
