12- Click on USER DEFINED resolutions.
13- now, go back to the POWERSTRIP TIMING PARAMETERS table (above) and
select one the parameters for the resolution that you want to add. Let's take 1360x720 as
an example: Highlight everything from Powerstrip... to +vsync. Use the copy command
in to send this parameter to the clipboard...
PowerStrip timing parameters:
1360x720=1360,0,112,320,720,4,6,19,80318,3088
Generic timing details for 1360x720:
HFP=0 HSW=112 HBP=320 kHz=45 VFP=4 VSW=6 VBP=19 Hz=60
Linux modeline parameters:
"1360x720" 80.318 1360 1360 1472 1792 720 724 730 749 +hsync +vsync
14- On CUSTOM RESOLUTION window click on the PASTE icon (at bottom left).
15- Click on ADD NEW RESOLUTION. (At this point Window will ask you to re-boot
if this definition has never been added. It will do this every time you add a new
resolution). Reboot.
16- After Reboot, Go to the task bar select Powerstrip à DISPLAY PROFILESà
CONFIGURE.
17- under resolution, click on down arrow bar with the mouse and then push the bar until
you reach your new resolution that was defined on step 15. If you have a lot of
resolutions, you may need to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to choose the correct
resolution.
18-After choosing the correct resolution on step 17 (make sure is the correct one), click
on the APPLY button. The screen will go dark for a few seconds. You will get a popup
screen asking whether you want to keep this resolution or not. If you are able to see this
message and the screen select YES. Otherwise, you have done something wrong and
need to back and repeat the steps.
19- if everything has gone well; check that the new resolution has "stuck" on Powerstrip
by selecting Powerstrip à DISPLAY PROFILESà ADVANCED TIMING OPTIONS.
If the resolution has "stuck", then you will see the ACTIVE HORIZONTAL
GEOMETRY and the ACTIVE VERTICAL GEOMETRY at 1360x720 respectively.
