Disassembly
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

DSI Module Removal

Condition Requirements:
DSI Module Accessed
1. Mark and disconnect four connectors from DSI
module.
2. Remove four screws and DSI module from
component tray.
3. Reverse procedure for installation.

Gas Solenoid Valve Removal

Condition Requirements:
DSI Module Accessed
Gas Supply Disconnected
Gas leak hazard. To avoid risk of personal injury
or death, leak testing of the appliance must
be conducted according to the manufacturer's
instructions. Before placing appliance in operation,
always check for gas leaks with soapy water solution.
DO NOT USE AN OPEN FLAME TO CHECK FOR
GAS LEAKS.
1. Mark and disconnect wires from solenoid valve.

2. Remove gas tubes from solenoid valve.
Note: Use care when removing gas tubes.
3. Remove solenoid valve tray from retaining screw and
tilt tray down to access flexible tube.
4. Remove flex tubing from solenoid valve.
5. Remove screws and solenoid valve from tray.
6. Reverse procedure for installation.
7. Perform gas leak test.

High Limit Switch Removal

Condition Requirements:
DSI Module Accessed
Note: The high limit switch is N.C. (normally closed)
and opens at 275°F.
1. Mark and disconnect two wires from high limit switch.
2. Remove screws and high limit switch from
component tray.
3. Reverse procedure for installation.
