Jumpers

The moth erboa rd provide s one jumper for yo u to set the co mpute r' s
function. This s ection will explain h ow to chan g e your motherboard' s func-
tion throug h the u se of the jumper.
Clear CMOS Jumper: CLR_CMOS
There is a CMOS RAM on board that has a power supply from external
battery to keep the data of system config uration. With the CMOS RAM, the
system can automatically boot OS every time it is turned on. That battery has
long life time for at least 5 years. If you want to clear the system config uration,
use the CLR_CMOS (Clear CMOS Jumper ) to clea r data. Follow the instruc-
tions below to clear the data:
You can clear CMOS by shorting 2-3 pin while the
system is off. Then return to 1-2 pin position. Avoid
clearing the CMOS while the system is on; it will

BIOS Flash Jumper: BIOS_WP
Th is jumper is u sed to loc k or un loc k th e b oot blo ck a rea on BIOS.
When unlocked, the BIOS boot block area can be updated. When locked, the
BIOS boot block area cannot be updatedl.
LAN Enable/Disable Jumpers: JL AN1 (optional)
Use these jumpers to enable or disable the onboa rd LAN function.
