Parallel Port Mode
This item s elects the operating mode for the parallel port: SPP, EPP, ECP o r
ECP+EPP.
EPP Version
The item selects the EPP version used by the parallel port if it is set to EPP or
ECP+EPP mode. Setting s: 1.7 and 1.9.
ECP Mode Use DMA
The item specifies the DMA channel 1 or 3 for the parallel port when it is set to
ECP or ECP+EPP mode.
Onboard Game/Midi Port Address
The items disable or assig n the address of the onboard Game/Midi port.
Midi IRQ Select
The item specifies an IRQ for the Midi port.

IPCA Function
This item is to activate the ACPI (Advanced Config uration and Power
Manag ement Interface) Function. If your operating system is ACPI-aware,
such as Windows 98SE/2000/ME, select Enabled. Setting s: Enabled and
Disabled.
ACPI Standby State
This item specifies the power saving modes for ACPI function. Options are:
S1/POS The S1 sleep mode is a low power state. In this state,
no system context (CPU or chipset) is lost and hard-
ware maintains all system context.
S3/STR The S3 sleep mode is a power-down state in which
power is supplied only to essential components such
as main memory and wake-capable devices and all
