PC Health Status

This section is to monitor the current hardware status including CPU
temperature, CPU Fan speed, Vcore etc. This is available only if there is
hardware monitoring mechanism onboard.
Current System Temp., Current CPU Temperature, POWER/SYSTEM/CPU
fan, Vcore, 3 .3 V/+ 5V/+12V/-12V, VBAT(V), 5VSB(V)
These items display the current status of all monitored hardware devices/
components such as CPU voltag es, temperatures and all fans' speeds.
Chassis Intrusion Detect
Set this option to enable, reset or disable the chassis intrusion detector.
During Enabled, any intrusion on the system chassis will be recorded. The
next time you turn on the system, it will show a warning messag e. To be able
to clear those warning s, choose Reset. After clearing the messag e it will g o
back to Enabled.
CPU Critical Temperature
This item is used to specify a thermal limit for CPU. If CPU temperature
reaches the specified limit, the system will issue a warning and allows you to
prevent the CPU overheat problem. Setting s: Disabled, 80° C/176° F, 85° C/
185° F and 90° C/194° F.

Frequency/Voltage Control

CPU Ratio Selection
End users can overclock the processor by specifying the CPU ratio (clock
multiplier) in this field. Setting s: x 8(Safe) to x 23.
Auto Detect PCI Clock
This item is used to auto detect the PCI slots. When set to Enabled, the
system will remove (turn off) clocks from empty PCI slots to minimize the
electromag netic interference (EMI). Setting s: Enabled and Disabled.
Spread Spectrum
This item is used to config ure the clock g enerator' s Spread Spectrum feature.
Setting s: Disabled and Enabled. Always disable the feature when
overclocking the processor.
CPU Host/PCI Clock
This item specifies the combination of CPU host bus (FSB) and PCI bus
frequency. It provides end users an overclocking method. Setting s:
Default, 100/66/33MHz, 105/70/35 MHz, 111/74/37 MHz, 114/76/38 MHz,
117/78/39 MHz, 120/80/40 MHz and 123/82/41 MHz.
