Install the Hood after fireplace is cool

NOTE: All models must have a hood installed prior to
operation.
NOTE: Hood is slotted and has some adjustment. It is
suggested that the center screw should be installed first
and the ends last.
1. Attach hood using three screws as shown here.

Reinstall the Included Barrier

Reinstall any barrier removed before operating the fireplace. The barrier is designed to
reduce the risk of burns from hot glass. Do not operate the fireplace without the barrier
installed.
NOTE: All models must have a barrier installed prior to operation.
BARRIER INSTALLATION:
Installation (see Figures 35A and 35B)
1. Slide barrier into upper trim panel. NOTE: This panel will rotate for ease of installation.

2. Lower barrier until it seats into the barrier support bracket. Barrier mesh shall be flush (as seen below) with sticker and spine facing
away from fireplace.
