• Checkwhetherthepowercordisconnectedproperly.
• Turnthemainpowerswitchon.
• Turnoffthemainpower,andthenturnitonagainafew
minuteslater.
• Press
ontheremotecontrol(or onthe
monitor).
• Increase"Brightness","Contrast",or"Gain"intheSetting
menu(see"Toperformadvancedadjustments"(page16)).
• Checkwhetherthesignalcableisconnectedproperly.
• Checkwhethertheexternaldeviceisturnedon.
• Operatethemouseorkeyboard.
• Switchtheinputsignal.
• Ifanexternaldeviceisconnected,changethemethod
ofexitingfromthepowersavingmode.Turnoffthe
poweronceandthenpress
fivesecondsormoretochangetheexitingmethodand
thenturnonthepoweragain(see"Tochangetheexiting
methodfromthepowersavingmode"(page37)).
• IfanexternaldeviceispluggedintotheHDMIport,
changetheauthenticationmethod.Poweroffonceand
thenpress
onthemonitorforfivesecondsor
moretochangetheauthenticationmethodandthenturn
onthepoweragain(see"3-8.Changingtheauthentication
methodforHDMIsignalinput"(page31)).
Thismessageappearswhenthesignalisnotinputcorrectly
evenwhenthemonitorfunctionsproperly.
• Themessageshowsthattheinputsignalisoutofthe
specifiedrange.
• Whentheanalogsignal(D-Sub)/digitalsignal(DVI-D,
HDMI:PCsignal)isinput,takethemeasuresbelow:
 - CheckwhetherthePCisconfiguredtomeetthe
resolutionandverticalscanfrequencyrequirementsof
themonitor(see"2-1.CompatibleResolutions/Formats"
(page13)).
 - RebootthePC.
 - Selectanappropriatesettingusingthegraphicsboard's
utility.Refertothemanualofthegraphicsboardfor
details.
