Service Schedule - Jonsered FR 13 Workshop Manual

The following is a list of maintenance procedures that must be performed on the rider. For those points not
described in this workshop manual, refer to the operator's manual.
Maintenance
Check the engine oil level
Check the engine's cooling air intake
Check the fuel pump's air filter
Check the steering cables
Check the brakes
Check the battery
Check the safety system
Check nuts and bolts
Check for any fuel or oil leakage
Change the engine oil
Clean the air filter's pre-filter (foamed plastic)
Check the cutting unit
Check the air pressure in the tyres (60 kPa)
Lubricate the belt adjuster
Lubricate joints and shafts
Adjust the brakes, FR 13, FR 2111
Check the V-belts
Check the transmission's cooling fins on
hydrostatic machines
Check the transmission's oil level on hydrostatic
machines
Adjust the brakes on hydrostatic machines
Checking and adjusting the throttle cable
Clean the cooling fins on the engine and transmission
Replace the air filter's pre-filter and paper filter
Replace fuel filter
Replace spark plug

First change after 5 hours.

WARNING!
No service operations may be performed on the engine or cutting unit unless:
• The engine is stopped.
• The ignition key has been removed.
• The ignition cable has been removed from the spark plug.
