1.7.3 Positioning the Stapler

1.7.3-1 Using the Index
Mount the stapler holder with reference
to the index taken note of before removing
it. (Normally, match it against the middle
index to position it correctly).
1.7.3-2 Using the Stopper
If the index is not clear, perform the fol-
lowing; this method is useful when the sta-
pler paper stopper has not been moved:
1) Move the stapler unit [1] to the middle
of the rail.
2) Loosen the two stapler holder fixing
screws [2].
3) Lifting the swing guide, insert a stack of
several sheets [3], and butt it against the
rear end stopper [4].
