Removing a Memory Card
Warning: Do not install or remove the memory card or the memory card cover unless the area is
known to be non-hazardous.

To remove a memory card:
1.
If necessary, on the I3H-6TX-MEM, remove the cable retention bracket in order to access the
memory card slot coverplate.
2.
Check the memory card activity LED to ensure that the card is not being accessed. Do not
remove the card if the activity LED is blinking or solid red.
3.
Remove the two screws holding the memory card slot coverplate and remove the coverplate.
Save the two screws.
4.
Push in one end of the push button, located on the left of the memory slot, in order to flip the
button out toward you. Refer to view 1 in

Push in on the button to eject the memory card from the connector. Then pull the memory
card all the way out of the slot, as shown in view 2 in

If you are installing another memory card, slide the new memory card into the slot and press
firmly to seat the card into the connector. The memory card is keyed so it will fit into the slot
only one way.
7.
Flip the push button to a horizontal position, so it is flush with the IOM faceplate.
8.
Replace the memory slot coverplate and reinsert the screws. The coverplate has a knob that
allows the plate to be installed only one way.
