THROUGH
1) Press the soft button that corresponds to the text "Through" on the right hand side of the
display. The LCD should display the following:
2) Turn the gain control completely counterclockwise.
3) Adjust the output level of the signal source to approximately 1Vpp, and then connect the
signal source to the LEFT/MONO input of the unit under test.
4) Turn the volume control completely counterclockwise, and then connect the headphones to
the headphone output of unit under test.
5) Turn the volume control slowly clockwise and verify that the signal source is heard from both
the left and right side of the headphones.
6) Turn the trim control clockwise and verify that the signal source level heard from the
headphones becomes louder. Then turn the trim control back to minimum gain (completely
counterclockwise).
7) Connect the signal source to the RIGHT input of the unit under test and verify that the signal
source is heard ONLY from the right side of the headphones.
8) Turn the encoder one click clockwise and note that the highlighted text now reads "Voice
Engine 2."
9) Connect the signal source back to the LEFT/MONO input and verify that the signal source is
heard from both the left and right side of the headphones.
10) Turn the encoder one click clockwise and note that the highlighted text now reads
"Streaming Engine." The LCD should display the following:
11) Press "NEXT" and note that the highlighted text is now "Ch1 (+4 dBU)," as shown below:
