There are some exceptions to this:
1. Because the 12 soft buttons (6 to the left of the LCD and 6 to the right) do not have LEDs
beneath them, pressing them will highlight text on the LCD that corresponds to these buttons
("MENU 0" to "MENU 5" and "Page 0" to "Page 5").
2. Pressing the "RECORD" button will cause it to change color from amber to red, instead of
turning on from a dim state.
3. The "PLAY" button is automatically tested since it is necessary to press it in order to enter
the switch test (step 2). This is why the test always begins with "1 of 72 switches pressed" and
why the "PLAY" button is lit green from the start of the switch test.
5) When all the buttons on the front panel have been pressed, the LCD should read:
The reason for this is that the sustain and footswitch inputs are part of the switch test as well,
and therefore must be tested at this time.
