KEYBED TEST
1) Press the soft button corresponding to the text "Keys" on the right hand side of the display.
The LCD will display the following:
2) Press all the keys on the keybed of the unit under test. For every key that is pressed, the
key note, velocity, and state will be displayed on the LCD, as circled in the pictured below:
Also, the display will invert the colors of the keys that have been tested already, as circled in
the picture below:
3) When all the keys have been successfully tested, the LCD will display the following:
NOTE: The pictures shown above for the KEYBED TEST are taken from an S60. When testing
an S80, the only difference will be the number of keys that require testing (61 for S60 versus
88 for S80).
