  • Page 3 About this Addendum: The Fusion’s operating system is upgradeable and allows us to add features and make changes to existing features after the workstation has left the factory floor. Because we’re continuously striving to make your Fusion better, the Reference Manual and Quickstart Guides may not be completely up to date with the latest features.
  • Page 4 Version 1.20 1. Sample Based Programs Can Now Contain Up To Four Oscillators Up to four multisamples can now be used for sample-based programs. Crossfading is available between oscillators one and two. 2. New Parameter Added To Synth Oscillator: “Monophonic Sample Reset”. When set, this will reset the sample when played legato in monophonic mode.

Live Loop Adjustment The following parameters can now be edited while the voice is playing: • Sample loop start • sample loop end • zone loop start • zone loop end • zone loop fine tune. 7. Chained Inserts Up to 4 different Insert effects can now be used simultaneously in series while in Program mode.
  • Page 6 8. Envelope shape is variable per stage. Each stage of an envelope is now variable from -100 to +100%, as illustrated below: A Value of 0% in each stage will correspond to a linear slope. A linear slope goes straight from point A to point B, and is your general plain-vanilla envelope slope. Values from -1 to -100 in each parameter corresponds to a negative exponential slope, represented previously as -Exp.

  • Page 8 Select the Hard Drive using the "inc", "dec" or encoder wheel. You will receive a warning as displayed below: It is important to insure there's nothing on the CF Card with the same name as on the Hard Drive. If you are sure you will not overwrite any files, press "Yes". The copy function is complete! Press "OK".
  • Page 9 3. Import a MIDI file into Song Mode MIDI songs can now be imported into the Fusion. After transferring a MIDI song onto a compactFlash card or onto the hard drive via USB, press the “Utility”...
  • Page 10 4. Export Song to a MIDI file Songs in the Fusion can now be exported to a MIDI song file. Press the “Utility” menu in Song Edit mode and then press the “SongUtil” page. Upon pressing the “ExpSong” button, a browse window will allow you to select a location for the MIDI file to be created in.
  • Page 11 3. The Fusion’s Program mode initializes to the “Assign” row when you turn on the unit. If you turn on the unit and it’s in Mix/Song modes, it will initialize to the “Arp”...
  • Page 12 Power Up” parameter to “Last Mode Only.” This loads the mode and only the program(s) that you were using before turning off the Fusion—no programs from any other modes are loaded on start up. This makes booting up your Fusion much faster.
  • Page 13 Version 1.01 1. The sustain pedal now latches the arpeggiator when the arpeggiator is enabled. In other words, if you hold down the sustain pedal while the arpeggiator is engaged, the arpeggiation pattern will continue to play until you lift your foot off the pedal. Note that in this situation, notes will not sustain as they normally do until you turn off the arpeggiator.
