Main Room: Remote Control RF Antenna
1. Terminate the remote control RF antenna cable with a "category-rated" RJ-45 plug. Start by using a cable stripping tool to strip off
about two inches of the jacket insulation.
2. Untwist each conductor and spread the conductors out. Use the so-called "T568A" or "A" standard wiring configuration. To do this,
arrange the conductors in the following order from left to right, as seen from the cable side:
A. Pin 1: White/Green
B. Pin 2: Green
C. Pin 3: White/Orange
D. Pin 4: Blue
E. Pin 5: White/Blue
F. Pin 6: Orange
G. Pin 7: White/Brown
H. Pin 8: Brown
3. Pull each conductor taut, flat and straight.
4. Bring the conductors together and insert them into an empty RJ-45 plug until the jacket is firmly seated under the insulation
clamp. The conductors should extend out the front of the plug.
5. Insert the plug into an RJ-45 crimping tool until it snaps in place.
6. Crimp the plug through the entire ratchet cycle of the crimping tool.
7. Connect the RJ-45 plug to the RJ-45 jack on the RF antenna.
Main Room: RF Remote Commander® Unit
1. Attach the supplied ferrite core to the AC power cord of the RF Remote Commander unit's charger cradle. Wrap the AC power
core twice around the ferrite core.
2. Connect the AC power cord of the charger cradle to a wall outlet.
3. Place the RF Remote Commander unit on the charger cradle. The RF Remote Commander unit has an internal battery that
needs to be charged for about 16 hours prior to first use.
